| Why do you ask why I'm exhausted? Oh right, cause you all don't know (cept for a few) Anyway, I'm so exhausted because I was away for a week for my only road trip this summer to California, and let me tell you, I only had fun on one out of the seven days that I was gone, so let me give you all a very detailed explanation on what happened on my trip.
Day 1 » Leave at 5:00 a.m. and eat lunch at 12:00 p.m. (McDonald's x__x) Check into Holiday Inn Hotel at 7:00 p.m. and go to sleep.
Day 2 » Wake up at 6:45 a.m. and get packed up to realize that they didn't offer breakfast here "it was only for tourists" -.- and leave at 7:00 a.m. Eat lunch (at McDonald's again) at 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Brother gets hungry at 3:00 p.m. so mother suggest we eat at McDonald's again -.- Visit relatives at 8:00 p.m. at Seaside, CA. Check into Econo Lodge and sleep for the night.
Day 3 » Wake up 7:00 a.m. and eat breakfast until 9:00 and leave to visit relatives again. We drive around the city, just to look around. We start by picking up my grandparents from my relatives house, and then eat lunch. (Chinese) Start taking pictures and site seeing around 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. We eat dinner at this small pizza place (awesome pizza) Just to know that we were going to visit more relatives (I have too many relatives, I don't even know half of them) and guess what, they had MORE food waiting for us. I was already filled up with that extra large pizza, I didn't eat. After that, we just went back to the hotel and slept.
Day 4 » Wake up at 6:00 a.m. and ate breakfast. get all packed up by 9:00 a.m. and left for Los Angeles, CA. Arrive at LA at about 8:00 p.m. and eat a late late dinner at Jolibee (a filipino fastfood restaurant) Sleep at relatives house.
Day 5 » Wake up at 7:30 a.m. Have a small breakfast, and leave for Universal Studios at 9:00 a.m. Arrive at Universal Studios around 11:00 a.m. (due to the massive traffic LA gives to you) and go inside to see what;s going on.
Universal Studios Okay, so when we got in, we started looking at the map on what we were gonna do first. We started off with going into the House of Horrors, and it wasn't very horrifying. All I saw were stupid people screaming at other people screaming at something on the wall or something. We just went out, and then walked around some more.
Deciding that it was going to take us way more than half an hour to get down to the lower lot, we waited about 20 minutes and became the first ones in line for Terminator 2: 3D. I have to say, I loved this one. They did, VERY well with putting the 3D into there, though when switching from the live actors, to the ones on the film were a little off. I mean, it doesn't take 3 seconds to switch from the actors to the film itself, though I thought it would be longer, but all in all, I thought it was really good.
Once we got out, before heading to the lower lot, like we planned, my parents (mainly my mom) wanted to try out the Back to the Future ride. Only thing I didn't like about it was that it was a 20 minute wait, but we managed. I love it though. Starting out with watching that video with that guy from 1955 and going through time. One thing I personally thought wasn't realistic was that it said only 88 mph. ONLY 88 MPH?!?!?! You've got to be kidding me. You have to accelerate at least to 250 mph before u can't even begin to break through time and space himself. I loved how they got me into the feeling that I was actually in all of those places though. Very realistic.
Heading down to the lower lot, we started off my going onto the Jurassic Park River Adventure ride. I have one thing to say to the people that have been on this ride before. The person on the left end of the boat will get MOST wet. How do I know this, because I rode on it twice. Went to the left end, got soaked. Went on the right end, didn't get wet at all, but my dad on the left end got completely soaked. Recreating the dinosaurs was pretty good I guess, but bleh.
After that, I knew we couldn't go on any other rides with wet clothing, so we stopped to eat, but not before I saw an arcade. Okay, so you all know me better than that. What caught my eye wasn't the whole arcade itself, but the DDR in it :] I know I know, you probably think what I loser I am, but hey. It's DDR!!! I played once, and waited for my brother to finish with his games, and met up with my parents at Panda Express.
We finished our lunch, and then decided that me, my dad, and my cousin would ride the new attraction "Revenge of the Mummy." Apparently my brother just didn't like scary rides and my mom chickened out when she saw "high-speed roller coaster." I thought the line was short, but turned out, the inside of the building was huge, and the line was LONG. I was entertained by the fact that one of the guys in a mummy costume kept scaring this girl, and ur could hear her scream half way down the line. I rode the ride, not too interesting, cept when u sped down that place for like 10 seconds straight, and then reverse.
Exited, and went back up to the higher lot to go see Water World. Took forever, and we were almost late. I have to say,. I. LOVE. WATER. WORLD. All the fire, water stuff, the big plane crashing, and what not. It was amazing, but since it was amazing, I don't really have much to say about it.
Before heading back down to the lower lot again to see back draft and special affects, we rode back to the future again, and I finally figured out the secret on those effect in front of use, only because we had to wait for this malfunction to get over.
Going back down, we arrived in time for special effects, and it was hilarious. Backdraft, not too much. The end was boring, all we did was watch fire, but I didn't get a little scared at the end when the celing almost collapsed. Ugh, I hate my adrenaline, but whatever. After that, we just settled down, and my brother played in the Coke Soak until 5:30 p.m. or so, and that was it for the day.
Leaving Universal, we head to Max's (a filipino restaurant) and ate with one of my mom's old classmates there. I ordered a huge plate that I couldn't finish it x__x After dinner, we headed back to my aunt's house (where's we slept last night) and slept. That's pretty much it.
Day 6 » Woke up and had another small breakfast, packed up, and left for OKC again. Oh, by the way, we left a little after 1, so when we were in Flagstaff Arizona, we checked into Super 8 Motel, and slept there for the night, but we ate Chinese for dinner. We swam of course, but the Chlorine level was so high, I chose to get out early, because last time, the chlorine level was so high, I felt like throwing up if I sate up right, if I put my ehad down, my head would start throbbing, so not much to talk about there.
Day 7 » We woke up the next morning around 6:00 a.m. and ate their small breakfast. Leaving around 9:00 a.m. We started back on the road. Around 1:00 p.m. we made a stop for gas, and then stopped at Arbey's (I forgot how you spell it) for lunch. Nothing special. After that, we made one last stop for gas, and made it back home around 11:40 p.m. We ate more after that, and then here I am.
So really nothing special about my vacation. Oh, I forgot. Those releases. Yeah...I'm sorry everyone T_T I've been so bummed out lately, I couldn't get anything done. I'll try to get them to you sometime these next few days. Until then, I'll talk to you all later.
